CORNELIUS – EXIT 28 - LAKE NORMAN

Antiquity - Up to 1000 single and multifamily homes with commercial and retail space on 128 acres.  1500 seat ampitheater, community pool, life size checkerboard and splash fountain, walking and biking trails and nine small parks.  An $800,000 wooden covered bridge connects to South Street in Davidson.  The starting price according to the Meeting Street Companies for most f the single famil homes are in the high $200,000 to $400,000.  Condos could start in the low $100,000 range, and the project's estimated value could exceed 250 million.  The development i tto include restaurants, banks, shops and a grocery store.  http://www.antiquitync.com/

Preserve at Robbins Park – Public-private development on 200 acres off West Catawba Avenue in Cornelius between Westmoreland Road and Birkdale Village to include upscale homes, a park, a naure preserve, a baseball complex & a greenway. Antiquity – a planned transit oriented development. The mixed use development will feature an old-fashioned covered bridge, 1000 residents, single & multi-family, retail and commercial. The entire project is expected to open in five to seven years.

The Village at Lake Norman - Major retail center planned – a development proposed by Bromont Investments of Scottsdale, Ariz. – 900,000 square feet of retail, a 250 room hotel, a 100 room hotel and 400 Residences above the shops on 105 acres in Cornelius. If approved, It includes a proposed I 77 interchange at Westmoreland Road.  The Village at Lake Norman would sit on 105 acres at the southwest quadrant of  US 21 and Westmoreland Road,. A new intersection at Westmoreland Road would become either Exit 26 or 27.
